Nathan Harper
Nate’s passion for real estate began at the age of 18 when he helped co-build his first duplex. With almost two decades in real estate investing, the launch of Harper Homes combines his passions for real estate, private investing, home renovations and leadership.
When he isn’t on a job site, dreaming up his next business move, pulling pranks on unsuspecting people or listening to leadership podcasts you can find him playing a game of Risk and eating a Snickers bar.
Kayla’s love for design started at a young age. It wasn’t uncommon to find, tiny ten year old Kayla had rearranged her bedroom for the second time that week….two hundred pound furniture and all!
“When there is a will there is a way!”
This motto has come in handy in the many frightening houses Nate has “surprised” Kayla with.
Kayla has recently acquired a Certificate from Parson’s NYC but claims her greatest education in design was when her husband threw her off the deep end many years ago (and the learning hasn’t stopped since.)
Graduating from a Vocal Major in Sydney, Australia you can find her love for music and Australian design at the heart of Harper Homes. As a result, no home is ever complete until Kayla sets up a record player and leaves behind the perfect record to match the home and new buyer.

How it All Started
In the first five years of their marriage wild and charismatic Nate set a goal to buy, renovate and rent out 5 duplexes in 5 years. His cautious yet creative wife, Kayla hesitantly obliged.
They quickly fell in love with the process of taking the most undesirable houses, restoring their beauty and making them a charming place for someone to call home.
In 2020 they decided it was time to take their passion full-time. They left behind their careers in Pastoring and sales and ventured into the world of house flipping.
While the rest of the world hesitantly watched what 2020 would bring, nothing was stopping wild Nate. In the midst of uncertainty Harper Homes was launched.
With a passion for communities and design, Harper Homes can currently be found in Bruce, Wellington and Perth Counties making overlooked homes the star of the street.
